Our decibel meter uses your built-in microphone to measure sound volume in decibels (dB) and also displays samples on helpful graph.

NOTE: Microphones in most devices are aligned to human voice and the maximum values are limited by the hardware. Very loud sounds (~90 dB and more) may not be recognized. Automatic gain control used in some devices may interfere with the operation of this noise meter.

Constant ad dump makes this app extremely annoying to use. Literally the popup ad interval is 10 to 15 seconds, with the banner ad always present. Also seems to read a bit high compared to multiple apps across multiple phones. The app itself is decent, but it's hardly good enough to overcome the constant ads. Avoid this, there are multiple better apps.

Got a pop-up ad while testing this app for less than 10 seconds. I was unable to exit the ad due to the nature of its behavior. That they allow ads - and this frequency of ads - on the app means I have to give it a 1 star review. Do better.

this used to be a good app. I just came back to it after a couple years and it has become terrible. - as other reviewers have said, the ads are incredibly intrusive and make the app almost unusable - the accuracy of the readings is WAAAAY off and it doesn't even seem to use the microphone properly. took a reading of a steady white noise tone (surround sound speaker calibration) and it reported the volume was steadily increasing - clearly the reviews are being review bombed. Bad app!
