Want to measure sound level? This is smart sound level meter app for Android!
Our decibel meter uses your built-in microphone to measure sound volume in decibels (dB) and also displays samples on helpful graph.

NOTE: Microphones in most devices are aligned to human voice and the maximum values are limited by the hardware. Very loud sounds (~90 dB and more) may not be recognized. Automatic gain control used in some devices may interfere with the operation of this noise meter.

Ratings and reviews

Constant ad dump makes this app extremely annoying to use. Literally the popup ad interval is 10 to 15 seconds, with the banner ad always present. Also seems to read a bit high compared to multiple apps across multiple phones. The app itself is decent, but it's hardly good enough to overcome the constant ads. Avoid this, there are multiple better apps.

I've never left a negative review because of ads and never imagined doing so for free apps, but these ads are so frequent, intrusive, and annoying to dismiss (including unskippable periods) that they're disruptive to basic, brief usage and I cannot stand it.

Not accurate at all. We're in the middle of a noisy brew pub where I can barely hear my wife across the table from me. I open up the App, lay the phone on the table, and it says it's like a "Quiet Library". What? In addition, the full page advertisements are ridiculous, and pop up often. Sorry, but no way I'm using this.
