Ratings and reviews

My phone (galaxy s21) was running slow and kept jumping to random websites whenever I opened an app. I only utilise the free version but after running and search and cleanup of my device through the app and the issue was resolved immediately. I've owned my current phone for 4 years and I think the phone actually runs better than when I bought it.

7-26-24: updating to 5 stars because it does what I need it to do, which is protect my phone. 5-23-23: It's been 3 years since my first review and this app has proven to be an excellent protection for my phone. Would recommend. 7-22-20: In the last month, the app has been skipping the nightly scan most nights and when it does do the scan, it is done 45 minutes late. Can't seem to find the problem.

Friendly user interface. No performance issues. I just switched to Avast from another provider and now use it on both my phone and my laptop and have extended this coverage to my daughters phone that has been frequently riddled with malware, and we've had no issues since. Avast has also been one of the top 3 anti-virus recommendations in my Cybersecurity courses. Great job!
