Ratings and reviews

The app is generally great, though you have to be careful with who you meet online. I just wish that a few things were free or had a certain limit or renewed each day such as translations of phrases,voice chats, and just a whole other things that should make the app more accessible. Basically you HAVE to pay to at least have a decent experience on the app otherwise you will just be restricted to messages which kind of beats the whole experience of talking and getting familiar with the language.

Concept is good, but as a woman, you see a lot of men in your inbox who are not looking for language exchange. They're not learning your language or speak the language you're learning. It would be a massive improvement if you could choose to only make your profile visible to e.g. other women. I'm interested in language exchange, but if people are just using this as a potential dating app, then I'm out.

Connecting with people in your target language is nice. However, this app uses malicious anti-patterns and is obnoxious just to have installed. For instance, all notifications are labeled as "messages" meaning you cannot block the constant spam notifications without also blocking messages too.
