Ratings and reviews

Stupid 'security verification', it requires an existing WeChat user to scan your code. I don't have any Chinese friends near me, so I can't set up an account. I wanted WeChat for local Chinese-owned businesses like restaurants... Even up until that point, it was slow and kept crashing at the first screen. Can't even open the app, it freezes up completely. Terrible app

Not great at all. I was trying to get back into my old account, but it doesn't send me an SMS. I try the account appeal process too, and apparently my phone number is wrong, even when I've triple checked everything? I cannot even sign up for a new account, as it gives me a loading screen that doesn't lead to anything. Overall, WeChat is a great app, but these bugs are uncalled for. Please resolve this. Thanks 👍

Sign up is easy, although idk why it has to be convoluted, but the neat part is u must never allow your account to be logged out. It's simply impossible to log back in somehow. This app is riddled with bugs and connection issues. I hope Chinese people used other messaging services instead. I wouldn't install this garbage if not for my clients there.
