Doesn't handle Android's inactive app archive so I came back and found it hasn't been backing up for a month. No notifications, no warnings, app looks normal and showing green "success" except if you look closely at the last "successful" sync it's a month ago. Strange V1 and V2 split with different screens depending on when you created the folder pair. Slow transfer, concerned with other reviews that it's not checking sync has suceeded and developer won't reply to explain.

Very useful, with about 11 folder pairs. I have encountered a problem with certain files, specifically photos. I am about 86 years old and the 1970 limit on android file transfers is only 56 years ago. That means that pictures of me taken before age 30 can't be backed up with foldersync. The only option I see is to manually copy the files. Fortunately these old files are pretty static and will not require frequent backups.

Excellent investment. If you're trying to connect to a windows machine be sure to turn on Network Discoverability and set your network to Private. Also they've kind of hidden features like syncing to new date-stamped directories that are only accessible *after* you've set up the folder pair.
