Availability and Medisafe Premium
In the United States, Medisafe is free to download and use, with Medisafe Premium available as an optional subscription.

Outside the United States, Medisafe includes a 14-day free trial. After the trial ends, users must purchase a subscription to continue using the app.

Medisafe Premium includes unlimited medications, unlimited Medfriends, access to more than 20 health measurements, and the choice of a dozen reminder sounds.

Subscriptions purchased through Google Play automatically renew unless canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Google Play account, in accordance with Google Play’s subscription terms and policies.

Ratings and reviews

Another app not understanding their target audience. I've been using this app a couple of years, recommending it to friends. It was great, until the latest introduction to a subscription. Because someone in charge doesn't understand that people who use a lot of medication are sick. And those people often don't work. And no work equals bare minimum income. Conclusion: the target audience can't pay this amount for the app, and I'm part of that group. I don't mind a fee, but this is too much! Bye

The subscription handling in this app is very clunky. An expired subscription often leaves you locked out of your own data until you pay again just because you had the audacity to use some more of the features (like track more meds). More than often actually buying a subscription isn't "seen" by the app which forces annoying Play Store cancellation flows that ultimately just end up costing money and flagging ones account with Google. The business model is odd and questionable.

I almost never write negative reviews, but the recent changes to the subscription scheme have prompted me to do so. This app was simple and effective which is really great. I have been using it for 1 year, and it does exactly what is says and works flawslessly... but now you have to pay a subscription to track more than 2 (!!) medications. You probably sell the trend data that is mined from users and now we are supposed to pay on top for a few extra notifications a day? This is incredible.
