FairEmail is simple to use, but if you are looking for a very simple email app, FairEmail might not be the right choice.

FairEmail is an email client only, so you need to bring your own email address. FairEmail is not a calendar/contact/task/note manager and cannot make you coffee.

FairEmail does not support non-standard protocols, like Microsoft Exchange Web Services and Microsoft ActiveSync.

Almost all features are free to use, but to maintain and support the app in the long term, not every feature can be for free. See below for a list of pro features.

Ratings and reviews

I've used the app over recent years, liked it so much I just upgraded to pro. Very easy to set up and use, very flexible on a range of devices (phones, tablets), customises well, works equally well with Gmail and obscure providers, POP3 and IMAP. Can be scaled for big and small phones, including fold phones. Frequent updates, excellent FAQ and fast, helpful support. I've used many other Android phone apps, but I recommend this. One of the first apps I put on a new phone.

Absolutely awesome app. I've been on the hunt for a good app to handle multiple email accounts (Outlook and Gmail) and was finding real issues with other apps, particularly when trying to find emails on my accounts. This app has solved them all! It's so customisation, and just provides a great overall experience. Feels like a fully formed email client much more akin to Thunderbird or similar.

I used K9 and Blue Mail previously, but both eventually suffered from lack of development and became less stable. I found FairEmail almost by accident, but have been really impressed by this app so far. It easily does everything I need, and seems really well developed and supported. I personally won't pay subscriptions for apps, so was pleased to find that a one time payment option was given. I happily paid it to support the developer, even though I don't really need any of the 'pro' features.
