Ratings and reviews

I tried several times to record new covers after the recent update; however, it seems that only my voice is being recorded and the music isn't - like acapella/without instrumental accompaniment. The song can then be saved as a draft, but the app is not allowing to post the recording, which is probably because of the same error. Has there been similar incidents reported by other users? Kindly review and fix. Thanks! 😔

I like the app itself and all its features, plus the amount of crowd compared to other singing apps. But audio recording wise, I don't know why but my mic keeps fading even if it's already close to my mouth and I can't find an effect similar to a real studio with less reverb/echo. If I compare it to Wesing, their studio effect is crisp, clean and gives you the right feels. As much as possible, I'd like to experience that in StarMaker so I won't need two apps to entertain myself by singing.

so far pretty good. large selection of songs (I paid for the membership, not sure if they're all available for free)... my main complaint is all the bot accounts fake engaging with my posts. edit: I've been on here a while now and bots are definitely a huge problem, but I've met some of the nicest people ever in the karaoke rooms, I always come away smiling and having hope in humanity. great place to socialize and meet people.
