Downloads disappear! Hey hey what happened with all my downloaded music? I checked the storage, the current used is still 6.5gb but I could not play any songs I downloaded. Because I saved a lots but downloaded only the ones I like (still hundreds songs). I don't want to use to download button for the whole library. Anyone could help me please? PS: I love Spotify and have been using it for year. 1 star only for dev's attention :'(

TBH I've used apology for about 2 years now on prism. I find it useful and everything it say it does really does xD, the quality, the organisation, everything is good. Only thing I'll say is it takes up space the more music you add to you playlists if that could somehow be fixed the app would be even better!

Been using this app for over two years now. amazing streaming service and huge song Library. best on the market for music streaming and staying connected to social networks. I love sharing and playing music along with my friends in Facebook. Customer service is great, playback quality is phenomenal, song selection is gigantic, Connect with different devices....i can't find anything I don't like about it! Absolutely the best! I recommend to everyone that listens to music! If I see someone with Pandora or Play Music subscriptions, I'm all, "get Spotify, it's way better. You'll thank me. π"

I came here from Pandora after they reset my favorite station, and it seems like it may take me a while to make a nice playlist, but Spotify already seems better. And if my playlists don't reset, u can keep this 5 star rating :) EDIT: I just made my whole Pandora station in like 10 minutes. Spotify truly is better

The sole and only reason I pay for premium is so I can listen to my saved albums offline while driving and not waste data, but since the last update it keeps deleting all my saved data. And after looking at other reviews from months ago, it doesnt look like Spotify cares or will halp with the problem. Oh well, just lost a customer, no point in paying when I can get the same playlists for free.

This app started out great, I even went premium. But now my music gets r emoved from offline play once a week, I can't ever look for new artists because nothing will load. I can barely get the app to load when I have it in offline mode anyways. This is the only app I have that doesn't do anything. I'm giving it one more weetk, if I can't get anything dealt with by then I'm deleting it and going to Google play music.

It wouldn't play my playlist even if I changed the song. After clicking a different playlist.. it took a minute to finally play a song. I relaxed and enjoyed the song. When the song is over, not only did one, nor two, but four consecutive ads that played perfectly without a hesitation. I thought well maybe my phone service is clicking in. I really tried to give it a chance.. so again.. I tried playing my playlist and what do you know.. it DIDN'T PLAY IT. Fix the problem. If ads can play perfectly then......
Edit: 5stars, you made it easier to scroll!! Thank you (: and I love the Genius edition Galaxy s6, when you click on the build button on the right of a song, it's really close to the scroll section. Move one or the other bc I hate scrolling down my playlist when all I want is to just add a song or check an artist's album, etc.
I was pretty happy with this app even though I don't use it so much but this last week the app has suddenly started playing and wasn't anywhere near my phone. This has happened in two quiet places whilst out so I wasn't impressed. Not sure if I need to reload the app or if there is an issue with it
It's a good app. But considering I PAY for premium membership, there are multiple bugs within the app that need to be fixed asap. The app will often crash randomly and take ages to load. I know for a fact the issue is with the app and not my phone/internet. These issues need to be fixed as it is very annoying paying for an app that has these annoying problems.
I really love this app it has good music and I can almost always find what I want. Ever since its latest update it wont go on my SD card anymore (it has awkward been able to move to my SD card). This app won't be getting a better rate unless you can fix this.
Love this app, only thing that lets it down is the way payments are made. If it misses a payment and i want to pay it manually there's fricken no where to do it, and if there is good luck finding it. So i have to wait till a get a premium payment failure warning. Im sure im not the only one with this issue
Paid for 3 months of premium on a deal after not using for a while. Like other people's reviews mine is along the lines of the same problems. Constantly crashes, won't load sometimes, downloads disappear. Downloaded some albums to listen to at work because I have no 3g reception there and low and behold all the downloads are deleted. Oh and when it is working it is slow to the point of unusable.
I am new to Spotify. I tried it once before and I was skeptical. However this time I am enjoying it immensely. They seem to have a very good catalog. When you pick an artist, they actually play sets of that artist. Even artists who are not American or whose songs are not in English. They are able to go back decades. The non-premium version plays ads but they don't feel intrusive. I am very happy with the app.
this review is for the current version, JUNE 2017! ! it is NOT for an older version! spotify often freezes. while using Bluetooth it delays when trying to go to the next track. this is with downloaded music, not streaming music. Worst of all there is no built-in mechanism in the app to contact Spotify to tell them about a problem. this is very bad lack of customer support. also there is no way to sort songs which is just ridiculous. many songs are missing from spotify. the search is awful
Extremely annoyed with this app. The sole reason to download this app is to enjoy music,but all I heard were adds. And when it would play music it wouldn't even come from my playlist, just random songs. So disappointed how they only care to make money instead of letting people enjoy music.
Just installed a new update which has reduced the app to a blackscreen with no functions at all. So, I'm canceling premium. It used to be great. Really it did. And now I spend so much time looking at a spinning green circle that I'm thinking even the 12 bucks a month I thought a bargain is a ripoff. If I can't even access my own libraries, this app is useless.
usernames-i cant seem to make a username every time i find myself making a new account, please fix! spotify seemed to have created long and complex users for us which is too long to rememver to log into on other devices. very upset .
I have had nothing but issues with this app lately. Won't pause, won't switch songs, takes forever to load, continues playing after the app is shut, causes my phone to freeze ect. Im close to cancelling my account and deleting the app for good if it doesn't get fixed.
This is a really good app for music and it's free and everything, but when I go to my songs, it only let's me shuffle play, I can't select the song I want to play. It is really annoying and I hope you can fix it. Otherwise, it is really good. Also, when I search an artist, it won't let me play any of their songs. Very frustrating!!!!
The layout seems to get worse through the years. Now the app makes it even harder and slower to get to your saved music, the music you want to listen to, not what they try and recommend, which is not what I'm paying for or want. Please bring back the option to have the app open where you want it to, and the ability to swipe left or right to go through your songs, albums, artists, and playlist. Plus, you could at least tell us what the updates are on the Play Store instead of saying "keep updates turned on". Otherwise the app is nice, casting to other devices, different options and settings, integration with Shazam, all make it an ok app. But it could be a lot better.
Excellent music streaming application, though you probably already knew that. The only issue I encounter is that downloaded music sometimes disappear and have to be downloaded again for some reason. It can be a bit irritating when I'm trying to use it offline.
Being able to control music playing from computer on my phone is useful. But I do wish I could control Chromecast music playback on PC and not just phone. Also sometimes when listening on PC, same music starts playing out of phone at same time randomly which is a bit annoying. For lyrics, I'd rather just be able to see lyrics than the other information given with it.
Needs to improve Android Wear features, like caching music directly on the watch storage, allowing us to listen Spotify thought the watch without need the smartphone. Please, do what Google already had done with Google Play Music!!! We need this feature.
I have been using Spotify for well over a year now and can find nothing comparable. This is a great app. The one thing I would like to see is an easier way to remove songs and artists from the database. A lot of stuff comes from recommendations that I don't care for and scrolling through a thousand unwanted items to find something is annoying.
Frustrating because it skips to different artists in shuffle play or only plays about 15 of the same songs over and over again. I love this app tho, don't get me wrong. It's just been getting wonky lately.
I haven't experience the family premium that i availed. My spotify always stopped & i don't know why. My other friends who connected to my account doesn't experience what i experienced. Please fix or resolve my case. I really love your app actually.
Great song selection, great for playlist, offline functionality is great for plane rides and solid playback. Cuts out streaming when online sometimes, doesn't load many songs from an artistβ when u go to it, so u have to do some clicking and album hunting.
I am a premium user, i use the app everyday and it constantly lags/crashes on 4G LTE and with my 5G wifi, how ANNOYING. Other than that the app is perfect. (galaxy s7)
The best music app out there. Don't really understand the complaining about the features that ppl can't live without meanwhile most of the ppl who love to complain don't even know how to fully use it. Gimme a break. And it's 4 stars cuz there is always room for improvement.
The app is brilliant but for some reason when I download to listen offline the next time I load up the app it has wiped all my downloads. Very annoying. Is there a way to solve this? Thanks
Annoying current glitch: after closing down the app, Spotify reappears in my notification bar. The app is closed in all other aspects, and even when I swipe it away from the notification bar, it still pops back up. The only way I've found to stop this is by force-closing the app from Application Manager in Settings. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, stopping the music before exiting, even restarting my phone after shutting down the app. Problem persists. Otherwise, the app has been great.
Ever since the latest update, my phone spotify hasn't loaded correctly. Also my phone spotify won't link correctly to my PlayStation 3 spotify. Every time I select "link account" it would say "Spotify account already linked. Switch to the PlayStation Network or Sony Entertainment Network account linked with this Spotify Account". Now I'm a big fan of Spotify. It's a great app for streaming music. It's got crystal clear music. But if this problem does not get fixed soon, I will have to go to Google Music
There HAS TO BE a button to stop suggested songs, as I am no longer able to listen to the songs I want to listen without being bambarded with unwanted songs! Please stop it. No one finds it useful (unless they are searching for new songs) so making a 'stop suggested songs' option is a must. Other than that I have no problem with this app.
Won't stop glitching. I get all the updates but nonetheless it will stop playing, or the songs stop and start, even fastforward (no joke) or just freezes and crashed, all regardless of whether I'm connected to Wi-Fi or not. Please improve, I pay for premium and use it a lot. Using with Samsung s7 on tmobile
This app is honestly amazing. Being able to add any song to playlist without having to buy it is one of the most gratifying things about it. I can now listen to a song and if i dont like it, than there aren't any repercussions.
No ability to skip to previous track on my headphones (triple click) like other audio apps.. Seems like a pretty standard feature to overlook by one of the worlds most used music app πππ (Samsung S8)
Since the last few updates, I've noticed that if I edit a downloaded playlist in anyway Spotify will occasionally "undownload" songs from any playlist that's marked for offline. Otherwise the playlists become "unavailable" and are grayed out. Now the songs have become extremely quiet when using earbuds, especially the vocals, sounding muffled and muddy.
When it said free for 30 days, I have to buy premium instead! ITS FORCING ME TO BUT PRUMIUM! FOR $10! I may never look at Spotify the same way again! π π Someone seriously needs to sue the Spotify Team! π π π If this app truly cares about your own customers, then why are you forcing that customer to buy "free" premium?! I'm never getting Spotify again π π π π π π π π π π π π I think your Web designer for Spotify is an idiot!
Update to this post: Spotify fixed this issue and now all is well. Love the integration with Waze, just not battery friendly. Not sure what you guys did with the latest update but I can't shut the app down and it runs my battery down in a matter of hours!! Beyond pissed!
