Ratings and reviews

The app would have been fine if not for weird issues with remembering the place in a currently read book and refreshing back to the title page. Especially annoying when one tends to jump between various apps and minimising them. It's not my primary mode of reading ebooks, more of a backup in a pinch, but if it were I would not be sticking with it.

The app essentially works. I appreciate that I can find here some books that aren't available elsewhere. It would be great if the app worked more reliably. For example, very often it loses track of a book's progress, so you better bookmark every time you want to close the app. There is no cart feature, so buying more than one book at the time is impossible. It's as if the app designers are testing your patience.

Used to be a great app. Since the last update though, it's very hard to use. The links for footnotes no longer appear to work. When you open a book, it automatically turns the screen brightness up to maximum, which makes it almost impossible to look at because it's so bright. You can't turn the brightness down either because it somehow overrides the phone settings. None of the settings seem to allow you to change any of this and re-installing it didn't do anything.
