I really want to love CBS News, but I find it distracting to have ads pop up on the screen while I'm trying to read. I understand that ads help support the app, but maybe there could be a subscription option instead. The live streaming and videos also seem to be lacking in quality, which makes it hard for me to fully enjoy the app. I really do like it, but these issues are holding me back from fully embracing it. As a result, I've had to turn to other sources for my news. Thank you..

I'll have to uninstall this app. Having ads is one thing-having them pop up in the middle of reading, and play videos is another. I block ads on the network level, so I end up getting a pop up complaining about my ad blocker which won't go away. I'm willing to pay for apps I use, but I won't be forced to put up with forced attention.

Already emailed CBS - No response. App still takes too long to open - is still very slow. Icons to click for sound and lanscape screen rotation are TOO SMALL - which makes them not always work at first touch or click. When watching a show, sometimes we need to step away and pause, then resume at the same place ! App insists on starting show all over..... 48 Hours, especially.
