This game is the type of game that you can ignore for a day and still be competitive enough without spending real money. If you want to be real good at the game, you must spend some time playing, but the game offers you a wide range of ways to gain premium currency. Planning in this game is everything, just think about the decisions you make for your city and you will have fun. The app version of the game is, in my opinion, a LOT better than playing it in the browser, it feels really smooth and responsive and you can play anywhere. The only problem with the app is that it locks some content away, exclusive to PC only, that is EXTREMELY LAME.

Can't do anything of importance without money. You either wait days for things to happen or pay! Yes, they say it is free. But if you actually want to play it every day for more than several minutes ... you have to pay to buy resources or diamonds or whatever. So you either enjoy a game that takes days to be able to build one builduing or grow a little, or not! I did not! I like slow building games, but this ones is too much in your face with it's limitations!

Easy to play. Very addictive. Game moves as fast or as slow as you do; the pace adapts well for both casual or serious players. You can play on desktop or mobile interchangeably! Developers are very much a part of the community; constantly improving the game and running events. It's F2P and holds true there. There's no P2W element. I spent a few $ because I wanted to support the game as I've been enjoying it throughly. Edit: there are optional ads but not as intrusive as I first thought.
