1) You write a nice message, put it in a bottle, and throw it to the sea. Your bottle will be randomly received by someone, somewhere in the world.
2) If that person decides to keep the bottle, you have a new friend and you can start chatting with each other!
3) And if your message gets released, your bottle will float back into the sea to be received by another random stranger!

Firstly, I love this app. I was looking for penpals but I wanted something where I don't get social fatigue. I love sending out unique bottles, I create my own content. The voice bottles are a fun way to liven things up. Yes sometimes still just get a "hi" back - but you can just delete those people. It's like all those people you've said "hi" to in the past and nothing more. You get out what you put in. Glitch for some - voice note feature 30 second and I've been told by a penpal it disappea🫥

I've been using this app since February 2018. And the first couple years it was a great app, I've seen it grow and it had a great user base. Unfortunately through the years It's became dull and and there wasn't a lot of effort to make it better. The killing blow for me was the moderation which became horrible over the years. And even if you contact them by mail, you don't really get help Hopefully I'll be finding a better app or make one

Very good app to make new people. But its super slow. Takes a long time to load. Chatting is hell slow. I have to refresh the app many times over. Most of the time it doesn't load. Fix the bugs and increase the speed please. We dont need AI. We need speed.
