I used to use this app a lot for researching the original languages of the Bible. It was very useful for that. Recently, for the past several months, they added reminders and EVERY TIME I open the app, it alerts me to turn on notifications so it works. Why does a Bible app need notifications??? Because of this, I am no longer using it. Also, when looking in the Strong's definitions, there are often references to root words with the Strong's number, but no link. You have to manually search.

This is a good KJV Bible app. I love the highlighting options. I also love that this app keeps track of what scriptures you have read. (It's not an automatic process but only takes a click to add the info) I wish there was more of a dictionary to it though. The dictionary that is included is a bit too basic. I would also like to be able to mute the ads. I don't mind seeing ads but when the sound is blasting through your speakers while you are trying to read quietly in bed, it is very annoying.

I use this app solely for Strong's Concordance. YouVersion Bible is the best Bible app in my opinion - you can change font, compare different translations, highlight, bookmark and label specific verses later for easy lookup later. Which is super handy. But, many times when I read/study the Bible, I want to know the original Hebrew/Greek meaning of a word and YouVersion does not have that feature. Strong's is an essential tool in effective study of God's Word. This app is easy to use for that.
