We use a combination of technology and human intelligence to confirm all snake submissions. Currently Artificial Intelligence (automation) is not 100% accurate every time. There are many variables when it comes to snake identification, and with over 3500 snake species in the world, we cannot afford to be wrong. Accuracy, timely responses, and education are our top priorities!

Honestly don't know why this app has such a low rating. You take a picture and upload it, it works well. Sure, the submissions aren't immediately classified by some AI robot, but that's actually why I like it. I don't need a response right away. The subscription is price is inexpensive enough and I don't mind supporting them!

This is already a great application, and it is still going to improve. Beside the knowledge about snakes it can also save someone's life! Not knowing what snake you might be dealing with can lead to a tragedy. It also might prevent from killing a harmles, and a useful being. It is one of not many apps that I call 'priceless'. Lastly, thanks for saving a being's life!

this is a subscription app with a 7 day trial period, but unlike lots of other apps that pointlessly charge a monthly fee (like weather apps that are just pulling from some other site), this app uses actual people to review your photo and send you an email with detailed info about the snake. you can even respond with questions. I think the fee is completely justified, easy to use and fast response!
