I really like the way the game starts as a micro management/min-max strategy game early while you are learning what different skills and synergies there are. As you are getting tired of micromanagement, it allows you to automate almost all of the nusiance tasks. The whole scheme of the game smoothly changes from an individual run, round by round game to a macro large scale production where you might only check in once every 200 rounds. New upgrade stores become available as you progress :D

Great game overall, the progression is smooth and straightforward, or as complicated as you want it. It feels similar to a TD game, but instead of placing things along a track, you fine-tune your monsters to deal with the oncoming waves. The tutorial is somewhat lacking, but everything is easy and fun to figure out. Very minimal predation on the in-app purchases, and nothing is permanently locked behind a paywall. I'm going to try out their other games to see how they hold up!

An overcomplicated mess, but still fun :) Dev included just about every system they could think of into the game. Skill upgrades, building upgrades, weapon upgrades and mods, class ascension, multiple difficulty levels, mercenaries, on and on. Most of it is skippable unless you're playing at a higher difficulty level and you need to start making some strategic decisions. Overall fun game, but to the dev: more does not always equal better.
