Ratings and reviews

It's not terrible, but feels a lot like a version-one first attempt. The UI looks very dated, but that's a minor point really. The major issue is the game-play. The puzzles are impossible to solve by applying logic, at least until you've got the first three or four queens planted. There's no way to deduce where to place the first queen, so you have to resort to either a brute-force or pot-luck system. The LinkedIn version is much better in that regard, although sadly you can only play once/day.

No logic to this game. The starting positions frequently don't give enough information to place the 1st queen, and there are frequently multiple apparent possible solutions, just not enough information to move forward. lv. 23, for example, has multiple solutions. The new hints system does almost nothing, dropping tidbits that, given their necessity to move forward, ought to be baked-in to begin with.
