It does not work, it crashes right after logging in. Update: the application does not crash anymore, after the full user profile is completed via the Xert website. The experience using the app is not great. The app is not flashy (made by data scientists instead of front devs?), but unfortunately it is really buggy. For example, when the screen orientation changes to horizontal and then back to vertical, a number of data fields and charts just disappear. The app is not very intuitive to use.

We just recently implemented landscape mode and it is possible that a version of Android or a phone may not render all the datafields correctly when switching back and forth. Other training apps (Strava, Zwift, Garmin, etc.) generally prevent landscape since it's hard. We've implemented something quite sophisticated. Contact support for help.

The Xert EBC app is very easy to use. Sensor pairing is seamless every time. It's the quickest and most reliable connection I've used. The data screen options are limitless. There are some neat data fields such as wind direction/speed, cars (with Garmin radar which it connects to), as well as all Xert fields and usual options related to speed/distance etc. The workout function for indoor sessions is incredible. Seamless, reliable, easy to use. It's one amazing app which does it all.

I really like Xert so far, I just wish there was some more correlation between the web and the app. When selecting a workout on the web it doesn't show up on the app as a planned workout and the freshness feedback also doesn't appear to be on the app. Small changes and an app update will give Xert a massive boost. I rate this above Zwift for structured training.
