Basapp helps citizens of municipalities, departments, provinces and countries to be safer. As simple as pressing a button on your mobile phone to get the assistance you need.
If your municipality, department or province is a member of the Basapp Network, you can enter the application and report the problem you are suffering. Whether it's a robbery situation, gender violence, a health emergency or a fire, you can press a button to inform the authorities who can help you.
When you issue an alert, in addition to your contact information, we will include the location provided by the GPS of your mobile phone so that the authorities can assist you.
If the location provided by the GPS of your mobile device is not accurate, you can adjust it manually by placing your finger on the map and sliding the marker to the place that seems most appropriate to you. If you want to report the alert at your home or work location, you can also do so.
Remember that in case of emergency it is always advisable to call the official emergency number of the country in which you reside (example: 911). Our service is complementary and in no way supplants or replaces the official emergency number. In case you cannot contact the official number, our service is an alternative way of contacting the authorities that may also be useful to you.
If your municipality, department, province or country is not a member of the Basapp Network and/or has not verified your personal data to enable your user, unfortunately you will not be able to issue alerts.
The operation of our service is subject to the signal availability of your mobile device, its internet connection and the general condition of your equipment. At the same time, although location performance is usually very good, there are conditions and factors external to us (for example: weather) that can affect the accuracy of your location.
The use of our services assumes acceptance of our terms and conditions.
