It has great potential. It has some places where it needs improvement. Let me begin with saying I use it almost daily as communications between my desktops, phone, tablet, and laptop. Sometimes it tells you you are online but you aren't. It is hit and miss (mostly miss) for sending pictures. There is no way to see who else has Trillian to be able to enlarge your circle of friends. Bottom line, if you need something basic this is great but if you need something more than just the basics, no

Changing my initial review. This app is almost pure garbage compared to the Windows client. My phone almost never gives me notifications when I receive a message. I don't get another icon on the top address bar, so I can't look at my phone and immediately tell what the message says. There is no features for video conference calling on this app vs the Windows client. There is no real, usable voice feature, and the vocal recording feature doesn't work from what the recipient of my messages have told me. Honestly, the only reason I even use Trillian anymore is because I've already invested money into it, and the History feature where I can archive all of my conversations. If it wasn't for these two vitally important things, I would've dropped Trillian for another messaging app a long time ago. I originally thought Trillian was good when MSN Messenger was finally shut down and me and the one person I talk to moved to Trillian. But now I'm stuck using an app that doesn't work more often than it does, and this app has issues properly sending message notifications when I get a message on the desktop, which I'm logged into both the app and desktop client simultaneously often. I'm not impressed with the way the app has turned out. Love the simple design, but hate the complete lack of features.

I like the app. I've been using it for about 2 years and I purchased a lifetime subscription. Recently, after an app update, I've been having a problem with the notification features in the app (I use an Android phone and no longer get notifications for messages). I've contacted Customer Support several times over the past approximately 4 weeks and have gotten no response.
