About this app

Do you want to back up your photos and videos you've been sent to KakaoTalk at once?
If so, try using "KakaoTalk Photo Backup".
I can check and back up pictures of memories that I had exchanged in chat rooms a long time ago !!
* Only phots stored on the device are available.

There are 3 ways to use this app.

1. Finding Photos
Click the Find Photos button to view photos you have received via KakaoTalk.
When you're done finding your photos, you can check out your memories.

2. Select photos
Discovered photos can be selected by touch, long touch allows you to see larger photos.

3. Save
The selected photos can be saved with the Save button.
Save to default path: Saved to "internal storage / PhotoBackup".
Save as a compressed file: Saved as PhotoBackup.zip, you can select the save path.
(Selectable path such as external SD card, USB, Google Drive, etc.)
* When saving as 4GB or larger compressed file, it is divided into multiple compressed files.
* Please create a file as many as the number of compressed files you need according to the capacity.

** Android OS 11 or higher is not supported.
Unfortunately, since Android 11, the privacy policy of the OS has been strengthened, making technical support difficult.

You can now filter the photos you want to see by type (picture, video), file size, date.

Ratings and reviews

Good for backup photos and videos, but loses date details. Would be good if can automatically download thumbprints of the backed up items.

Did not find any of my 5.7GB of photos. I am uninstalling this app. I would rate zero stars if I could.

Is there a plan to update for Android 11? Useless for me until then
