About this app

The Universal Name Generator is an easy-to-use tool for generating names from twenty different categories in the following five genres: Epoch, Fantasy, Science Fiction, Supernatural, Random Words. You can save and edit names in your own lists. The app works even when you are offline, without the need for an online account. Additionally, the user interface is easily customizable and it generates nine names at once.

Supports the following categories:
-Epoch: Stone Age, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Times, Vikings, Middle Ages, Modern Age
-Fantasy: Elf, Halfling, Orc, Dwarf, Giant
-Science Fiction: Human, Android, High-Minded Alien, Combative Alien
-Supernatural: Angel, God, Vampire, Demon
-Random words: Infinite number of possible names with customizable length and probabilities.

~88,000 modern last names and ~6000 modern first names
~11,000 last names and ~20,000 first names combined in other categories
~4,000 traits and ~1,000 professions
-Infinite number of possible names for each category by using the experimental settings that generate completely new names which don't exist in the database.

Additionally Features:
-Selectable settings such as gender, trait, first name only or last name only
-Depending on the category fitting professions as last name.
-Supports English and German for last names, professions and traits.
