About this app

The CMP Research Somfit V1 app is used with the Somfit device to record your sleep data overnight as part of a reseach trail.

To get started, the CMP Research Somfit V1app scans the QR code given to you by a reseach provider. The app uses Bluetooth to connect to the Somfit device, and phone storage to securely store data during use. Once your overnight study has finished it uploads the data to your reseach provider.

The CMP Research Somfit V1 app requires access to your camera and phone file system as well as Bluetooth. The camera is used to scan a QR code during device setup, while file access is necessary for storing device data until it can be transferred. The Bluetooth location permission is needed to communicate with the Somfit device. We understand that granting permissions can be a concern, but rest assured that your privacy and security are our top priorities. We only access the minimum necessary information to provide you with the best possible service.

What’s new

This build serves as the baseline release for all current research-based programs and is intended to remain unchanged for their duration. It provides the same functionality as the mainstream clinical Somfit app (V5.0) at the time of publication.

Includes minor fixes:
- Foreign languages survey.
- Quality log format output.
- Video playback when switching apps.
