I am not sure if it is the apps fault or the fault of the bluetooth connection but my control of the lights are spotty. Galaxy S8. In order to change settings in the app, I have to restart my phone. Then I get about 1 min in the app before it freezes up an I have to reset. Also the bluetooth range is very short. I have to stand out in the cold, close to the light to control it. However it does remember what the last setting was so once I set it I can turn it on and off using a timer.

Did what other successful people did. I plugged all of them in at once in the house. At first I couldn't get them to work they were just stuck in a solid light state, but then I realized that the app controls so many different types made by the company that I had to scroll over to "snowflurry" because that was the type of lights I purchased. Once I realized what I was doing wrong they work so well! OMG I love them! I even tested to see what would happen if the power were to shut off and come back on, they stay in the last selected light mode you choose and come right back on! Can't wait until it gets dark to position them outside!

Bought 3 sets of icicles and because of all the negative reviews, decided to hook them up in the house before I hung them outside. Connected to my Motorola immediately! Very simple installation, easy to understand instructions and they worked like a charm right out of the box! I did take the time to read all the literature first... maybe that's why I had such good luck with them. They're outside as I write this, merrily twinkling away! I love them and will purchase more. Excellent product!
