About this app

This is the new official app for listening to WFMU, an independent freeform radio station based in New Jersey. This app is the updated version of the previous unofficial "Woof-Moo" app. The old app previously known as "WFMU (Official)" has now been retired, and this version of the Woof Moo app is the replacement for it.

Check out the weekly schedules, listen live to a selection of streams, or catch up on the recently archived episodes. Queue episodes for playback, or download episodes to listen back offline. You can also listen via your Chromecast device, or in your car with Android Auto.

This app contains no adverts or tracking. Analytics functions are available, but are unused at the time of writing. You can disable this completely at any time, and will be presented with this option when the app is first opened.

Easy enough to use and navigate. But the archives are massive. There are so many shows I can remember listening to and now I am able too once again

Great app, huge upgrade from the past one but also when judged on its own. Very usable but with tons of features and connections to other apps and services. Plus FMU's incredible depth of archives!

Fantastic app for a station that deserves one. I use it all the time. I'm not entirely sure I understand how the control wheel works when playing archived episodes, but that's a quibble. (Maybe the problem is the user, not the app.) Love that I can read comments while listening. I haven't used the time stretching feature yet but that day might come.
