Die HalalCheck-App erklärt nicht welche Zutaten erlaubt oder verboten sind!!!

Sie hilft Ihnen bei der Auswahl Ihrer Produkte, die nach islamischem Recht für den Verzerr erlaubt oder verboten sind. Mit dieser App greifen Sie auf Daten von mehr als 58.000 Artikeln, die auf Grund Ihrer Bestandteile entsprechend deklariert worden.

Wir erfragen beim Hersteller die Herkunft von Zutaten, deren Bestandteile tierischer Natur sein können oder die mit/aus Alkohol gewonnen werden und lassen sie uns rechtlich Belegen.

Sie können aber auch selber dazu Beitragen, dass weitere Artikel aufgenommen werden, denn Sie können aus der App heraus, die Produkte mit den Produktinformationen senden, die wir noch nicht in der Datenbank enthalten haben. Nach reichlicher Analyse vom Fachwissenden werden dann die Produkte entsprechend klassifiziert.

Would be great if the user could take a photo of the ingredients, and it could highlight in different colors which ones are certainly halal, mushbooh, or haram. Should be possible to recognize either text (e.g. lecithine) or E-number using Artificial Intelligence. It can then interactively allow clicking on each item to see more details. This function can access to global users, at least for some items. For the uncertain ones, the barcode reading and asking the company can still be preferred.

The app is great, but the worst problem is that the scanner box is at the top of the screen, while most smartphones' cameras focus exactly in the middle of the screen. This makes it impossible to scan. That is why the app is unusable.

I'm really happy that you've implemented different languages now (although it wasn't too difficult to navigate previously). It's great help with German supermarket products like Lidls.
