It's good. Rather expensive. Different abaci have different "decimal points" on the bar. To make it worth $10, it would need to be very extensive and highly computational. As it stands Abacai use is very simple, but very capable people use them for both very advanced functions and at high speed - it needs to push the limits of maths , science, physics, chemistry etc. Also PDF books for download and different operating systems would be good ( LINUX ). Also the writing is very tiny and unreadable.

Edit: I thought the first lessons were really good, but the explanations started getting more and more confusing, now I'm at Level 7 and read the lesson many times but still don't understand it. That's why I removed two stars, I feel that it wasn't worth what I paid for... Great app! I'm really learning to use the abacus with it. My only complaint is that it's hard to manipulate the beads correctly sometimes, and it would be great if there were lessons with more advanced operations.

Exactly what you need to learn how to use a 4+1 abacus. It teaches this new skill in an enjoyable way and I can see myself improve and get faster every day. The small cost is justified and worth paying to pursue progress. I really appreciate this app was created.
