The Saskatoon StarPhoenix app connects you to the news you need to know. Create your custom feed so you don't miss the latest from your favourite writers.

Features include:

If you are not an existing subscriber, you can easily sign up through the app marketplace.

· Payment will be charged to your store account upon confirmation of purchase.
· Subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
· The account will now be charged $14.99 for monthly renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
· You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal after purchase in the App settings. Select "My Subscription" then "Manage my Subscription" and you will be able to make changes.

I have lowered my rating to one star, trying to stop my subscription seems to be impossible using the app. Is app could/should be much better. This app does not remember where I was in my reading. If you decide to listen to the articles you can hear the same article 2 or 3 times. When I leave the app and return I do not have the option to listen to the articles unless I shut down the app and reload it. 2 stars for this app is being generous.

Used to love getting local news from this app. Now everything's blocked behind a pay wall/registration wall. I'm not giving Postmedia my personal information, most of their papers are nothing but right wing rags. Local editors at least gave the Star Phoenix an edge. It's a shame we're going to see this paper die off now.

So...not actually Star Phoenix, false advertising app that provides nothing whatever Absent Intelligence dreamed up this app was probably hired to make sure no one ever used the app again and they did their job perfectly 🙄 Total trash!!!! Obits section is still not working...
