About this app

Have you ever combed fruit from a tree in a public place and felt like you were doing something wrong? Map The fruit points to places in cities and in the open countryside, where you can tear, for example, cherries, apples, nuts or herbs without any worries. It consists of thousands of volunteers called mappers, who know the places well and share them with others.

DISCOVER
Choose what trees, herbs and shrubs you are looking for in your area and the map will take you to them.

ADD

Did you find a fruit tree that is not marked on the map yet? Add a fruit tag, detailed information and photos straight from where you stand. Help us map untapped natural resources and join volunteers who have been mapping fruit with us for over 5 years.

CODE OF ETHICS

The icons in the application indicate plants that registered users have entered there to the best of their knowledge and conscience. Some public administrative bodies or legal and natural persons also share their unused fruit resources in our map. Be sure to read the Collector Code before registering.

Basic rules:
1. We primarily find out whether we are not violating any property rights by collecting the fruits.
2. We take care not only of the trees, but also of the surrounding nature and the animals that live in it.
3. We share our discoveries with other users.
4. We are involved in the maintenance and planting of new fruit trees.

WHAT DOES IT DO FOR FRUIT
Map Na ovocies is operated by the association Na ovoci z.s.
We are renewing our interest in fruit trees and orchards in cities and in the open countryside.
With thousands of volunteers, we have been creating a map of publicly available fruit trees for 5 years, the fruits of which anyone can use for their own needs.
We take care of old orchards, we plant new trees
We organize self-gatherings of fruit for the public, workshops, educational walks.
We return forgotten fruit varieties to our tables and gardens.
We teach people to look at their surroundings with edible eyes, to discover, to enjoy, to care for and to share.
