After finding myself with an electric guitar and just my phone as my rig I have struggled many times to find a simple free app to loop a rhythm guitar and practice. This app will do exactly that.

This app will request permission to use the microphone and access storage to save the sound files.

Simply press Record to start. You will be given a four second countdown to prepare yourself. Press Stop/Play to stop recording and begin playing the loop. Press Stop/Play again to stop playing the loop and clear the app for a new loop.

The app is very basic and it may help in some situations, but again, on a basic level. It only has one channel to loop, so you can only loop one thing, once. There is no sound que as to when it starts recording, just a silent countdown. Once you are done recording and play the loop, there is a significant pause in between every loop. Sound quality is average to bad. Just don't go in expecting good sound quality. Leaving it on a positive note, The loop will still play when not in the app.

It's not that it doesn't have good quality audio.... Which it doesn't. Its that there's a huge delay between the loop end and the beginning. Awful app. A loop should seamlessly play so you can write over it. So much for downloading a quick app. A pathetic excuse for a looper. Don't bother with it.

This just record and replay raw. There's no time signature to set. So you have to press stop button exactly at the end of the bar. I have to be a Flash to do that!!
