Story:
Once upon a time, there was a small town. The townsfolk lived happily, but they were so poor that they couldn’t even afford to go somewhere decent on holidays. But on the day when everybody abandoned all hope, a miracle occurred. The ground beneath the town shook violently and burst out a myriad of despicable monsters. From that point on, all the townsfolk who had survived lived happily ever after. Why? Because the dungeon has attracted all sorts of heroes and adventurers. They protected the innocents and ended up being excellent spenders, boosting the town’s economy.
And now the little town flourishes, as it stands on top of a dangerous dungeon filled with dead adventurers and their miserable souls.

Ratings and reviews

Like most Pixel Dungeons, a good game. A few janky mechanics (spawning on top of other mobs, etc) but making a game is tough. It would be great if Necromancer was more viable; either have the spells cost less, or give the player total control over dominated creatures. It just seems more in keeping with being a commander of the undead. And you no longer have to fight bosses alone as the weakest class. Edit; thank you for the consideration! Food is rare enough you shouldn't plan on going back to town, possibly ever. Mentions the amulet of Yendor directly but doesn't seem to be a nethack clone. Never upgrade equipment without checking strength requirements. Generally solid gameplay, I like the addition of seeds as a usable item class, and the number of containers in the shop. I wish there were more options - my fighter can't even try to disarm traps. The food problem would be easier if the shop had infinite food, instead of 3.

Great game. Could use a few tweaks. More carry-over from previous playthroughs. More explanation on item stats. More character stats, a bit better management for grinding the dungeon. I've notice I can get to level 3 before my hunger kicks in. Would like a better way to get back to where I was instead of memorizing routes. Gotta admit the mod support is pretty awesome. The monster and item lists between characters is cool, overall I think this is a great game.
