This one deserves more stars. But, it has serious bugs in the procedurally generated levels, forcing you to restart the "run." This wouldn't be so bad except you lose everything during the run. Once you reach a checkpoint you can go back to town with your items/gold/xp, but you still must start from floor zero once you go back in the dungeon, repeating all the levels. Later on this is a disaster without the teleport items. No tooltips on anything. Fixes would make this 4.5 stars easy.

Game is well-made, runs well, and looks incredible. But fighting enemies, the core game mechanic, feels horrible. Enemy attacks are poorly telegraphed, you cannot tell how one will behave before you approach, and they will instantly damadge you from any angle (a big deal because of the limited grid based controls) Essentially you're discouraged from attacking enemies and when forced to it feels bad and unfair. Further amplified by small mistakes causing death and forcing restarts.

I'm really displeased with the way the levels are generated. More than once I've simply gotten spawn trapped as soon as I appeared in a level, which is quite inconvenient when you lose literally everything every run you die. As an adult, I've no time to be doing grinding tasks while simultaneously being svrewed by the game itself - luckily in mobile games we've a huge choice. The game is visually pleasant however, hence the second star.
