The purpose GPS Logger Pro is to log your GPS coordinates , speed and distance to a file on your SD card.

The saved files are stored in the SDCard\GPSLogger_Pro folder

Permission
* Modify/delete SD card contents is used to write CSV file to SD card
* Prevent phone from sleeping is used to keep the screen on for logging data


How to use the app ?
Press "GPS" icon to enable GPS.
Press "Start" button to start logging GPS data. To stop logging, press the "Stop" button

Ratings and reviews

Many good features well done: nice tracking, camera integration and ability to upload tracks in any format I'll ever use. Easy on the battery. I wish the displayed track were smoother, or had option to show just the location dots. The current track looks like a drunkard's walk at 10 sec sampling. The last star? when the app can run in background and be summoned from the notification. The current 'do you really want to exit?' prompt is clunky.

I like this app because it doesn't try to do anything other than just record my #%@&ing GPS coordinates within a given time range. I don't need social media features. I dont need to run faster than my friends. I don't need to upload my location to a public website so I can be taken out by Ukrainian special forces. I just want to know how far I ran last Thursday. I'm giving 4⭐️, tho, b/c maybe 1 out of 15 times the app wonks out trying to save my session and loses the entire record 😖👎

Looks pretty. But I could find no way to get the saved file off my device. While I have com.peterhohsy.gpsloggerpro directories, all they contain is a cache dir. File is clearly there, can see it in other on device apps but I need it elsewhere.
