It seems every update screws something up! 1 of the numbers I have in a note, changes every couple of days. It is 7 digits so the app assumes (incorrectly) that it is a phone number. So apparently, I can't delete phone numbers. So instead of deleting a few digits and putting in the new ones, now I have to delete the entire 10 line note and start over. For the most part, I only need to change part of the last 2 lines. So I guess I'll have to find a different notepad for this one note.

I have been using Notepad for several years now. I have always been a big fan of this app. I never had any issues with it, and it stored many, many important notes for me on my phone. I really liked that those notes were stored on my phone where I could easily access them. One day the app was working without issue. Then, later that day the app crashed. I updated it and after the update all the most recent notes I had saved were gone. The app reverted to old saved data. I am so disappointed.

This was a great app before you were able to "upgrade" to no ads. The cloud sync was automatic, and available without purchase. Now that I have a new phone and re-downloaded the app, I have lost all my previous notes. This sucks, and now only useful for temporary notes unless you want to pay a monthly or yearly subscription fee. 10/10 would CHOOSE A DIFFERENT APP next time.

The Cloud Sync capability has always been a paid feature and supports our ability to maintain Notepad as the leading Notepad application. I hope you can enjoy our app in the future.
