Plabable provides the ultimate resource to revise for the Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board (PLAB) and United Kingdom Medical Licensing Assessment (UKMLA).


PLAB is the main route by which International Medical Graduates demonstrate they have the necessary skills and knowledge to practise medicine in the UK. The exam includes PLAB part 1 and 2. At Plabable, we focus on high yield questions that mimic the PLAB part 1 exam, giving you the best opportunity to pass on the first attempt. PLAB part 1 is a three-hour computer-marked written examination comprising 180 single best answer questions.


The UKMLA is an exam for all UK medical graduates, starting 2024 in order to obtain a license to practise medicine in the UK. The exam will assess fundamental knowledge, abilities and behaviours required to practise safely as a doctor in the UK. I can't endorse this app enough. It is 100% all you need to do exceedingly well in Plab 1. The 4 day revision course is extensive and covers most of what ends up being asked in the exam. I only used plabable and can say with relief now, that I passed with flying colours, and it's really all thanks to this app alone, and not by my own merit.

Excellent resource. I hadn't done most of the other aspects of medicine, having already done my specialisation early and worked in one field for some time. This app was able to give me all the basic knowledge needed in the various disciplines. It prepares you fully for the exam. I highly recommend this for anyone wishing to take UKMLA.

Brilliant app and amazing work by the Plabable team. My preparation for PLAB lasted about 3 months. That included doing the questions in the question bank and reading the explanations. I think i covered about 2800 of the 3500 questions. Close to the exam, I started doing timed mocks (about 5 altogether). I participated in their last-minute revision course and took the Big Mock. I passed with a score of 154. I kid you not, I did not have to read or look up ANY other material. It was PLABABLE.
