Privacy note: viRACE only uses your location while you are actively running an event. The foreground service is needed to keep your run tracked accurately in the background and to deliver live updates without interruption. Once you finish, tracking stops automatically.

Ratings and reviews

Too many voice overs and no option to switch it off, so it stops the music all the time, very annoying.

Ran the great North run this morning, the app struggled to maintain GPS, kept interrupting my music, and ended up one kilometer out of sync with the actual distance I had covered. I ended up running an extra kilometer but the app never said that I had finished, it probably still thinks I'm still running. Would not recommend and will not be using again.

Really poor. Crashed before the start, crashed before the end, switched off my other audio stream, gobbled the battery. I'm apparently now 40k into a half marathon, and still haven't finished. An app like this is supposed to enhance the experience, not be the worst part of the run. If it can't do the basics of tracking the run, all voice clips, and other fripperies are wasted.
