For use with Melnor's RainCloud and WiFi AquaTimer Smart Water Timers. Easily manage watering for up to 4 areas of your lawn and garden from the convenience of your smartphone or tablet. You can even increase the number of watering areas to 8. There is NO FEE for this service for use of this app.

Slow to start but runs fairly comsistently. Has timer as well as app button to start/stop. Takes a couple seconds to stop (can be stopped manually on hose valve via buttons). Great cheap automation alternative for front lawn (small lawn), single impact sprinkler. Great customer eupport. I had an issue with an older model a few years ago and they sent me a whole new unit.

Used the app for a few years now, has been okay. Just now tried to add a new controller and the app went bonkers, I think I've lost all previous inputed data. Uninstalled and reinstalled now can't even register new controller, app gets stuck on the Manage tab. Awaiting a call back from Melnor.

Was good until the app was updated. Now zones will only work randomly if at all. Everything says it is connected and the lights turn on the unit so I know signal is reaching the valve unit but they just don't turn on even at full battery strength. As of right now the unit and app are useless.
