It would be nice if we could just select a printer and use the slicer without having to connect to the printer. I have a Creality Wi-Fi box and would love to test out the Simply Print slicer and download the STL before deciding if I want to set up OctoPrint. It would even be great as a mobile-based slicer for those who don't have a connected printer since there is a lack of mobile-based slicers. Please consider this option.

Downloaded. The description is bad . Dose not indicate you need octo print or other, because this wasn't mentioned I assumed USB cable would be applicable. Seems like a information farm as you have to sign up for an account before. You can veiw the app. But I wouldn't know as I didn't create an account to be let down by the fact that it's just a expensive ui.

It was nice until 2 days before the free trial ran out. After that things started getting worse with the app showing the printer offline and then claiming the bed was set to 0°c. Now without the trial it only pulls up a photo every 6 seconds and doesn't play in real time. Imho if i didn't need something to monitor my printer at work I'd go back to using an sd card.
