Nice app to keep lawn notes/logs. I agree with some previous reviews in that you cannot log your fertilizer application until after the date that the app recommends. Seems as if that date should be a guideline, but it should be free form to mark the date you actually applied. All is well however because once you hit that magic date range the app sets, you can back date it to the date you actually applied. I just kept a note of the date in the notes section.
The app is awesome, but has one flaw that I have noticed. I ordered the plan where you get all the products needed for the entire year. What they sent me was slightly different from what the app was telling me that I need. I contacted Scott's customer service and they confirmed that what they sent was the correct products as well as attaching a PDF with the plan I should use. It took a few days to get a reply from them, but no big deal being I was in no rush. Overall happy and would give 5 stars if not for the minor error.
Nice app. Helped me find the dimensions of my yard. I had been applying too little. However there are no reasons to limit the grass types by region. Don't tell me I can't have that type of grass because I live north of some arbitrary line. Also, why can't I tell the app I applied treatment until after your suggested first date. I applied a week ago due to forecasted weather but still can't mark it applied.
When we moved in, our lawn was mostly dirt with some weeds. A year and a half later, it looks great. Still more to do, but awesome improvement. My only complaint with the app is that it doesn't send the push notifications for when it's a good time to apply product. I made sure the notifications and permissions are all on, but no luck. Other than that, it is easy to use and works, thanks!
I downloaded this app after seeing it advertised on tv. I also read other comments before I installed it and saw that people were saying that they can't get past the login. My thought was surely that doesn't happen, they advertise it on tv. Well I couldn't get past the login also. Personally I think one should be sure an app works before spending money on advertising. Not good business practices.
I cannot access the sight. Tried my password and it did not accept it. Clicked the forgot password link and tried using the password sent to my email. Still cannot log in. After multiple attempts both on the app and scotts website I give up. Guess I'll just have to do without.
