The Startel Secure Messaging Plus application is a safe and effective way to send and receive HIPAA compliant text messages.

Message content and attachments are encrypted on servers and on devices, and in transmission.
Fully configurable, senders are in complete control of determining the length of message life within a maximum 30 day period.

Latest update made the phone numbers in the messages unclickable. Extremely inconvenient if I want to call a patient from my phone straight from the message. Also it made the messages too zoomed in which is visually unappealing. Now, after the update, whenever I open the app, it starts from the oldest message and scrolls down to the end giving a very strange experience. Also, with the new update, the latest messages are not highlighted like they used to be. Please fix this. Update was no good.

At least half the messages aren't coming through. I've had to restart my phone at least 10x today because that's the only way the actual message will come through after I receive notification of a new SMS. I have tried refreshing, leaving the app and going back, uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing works except restarting my phone. This app's performance today during a busy cold and flu season was truly remarkable. Unfortunately it will probably be more of the same tomorrow.

Latest update made the app worse. What's the point of updating an app to worsen it. Anytime I open the app to load the most recent message, i have to wait for it to scroll down from the top of the oldest message of the long list. I can no longer click on the phone number link when it's included with the page. Addendum 12/6/22: above problems fixed, but since update, when new message comes in w/the ring, often the message won't appear.Dangerous for pt care as pts can be missed.
