About this game

"a brilliantly realised set of puzzles" - 8/10, The Metro

steks is unlike any game you’ve played before; it’s a puzzle game that relies as much on creativity as it does on logic. Your objective sounds simple: build a tower out of shapes, but the challenges are nearly endless. Every level has been crafted to have thousands of possible solutions, but even more ways for it all to come crashing down around you.

Each of the hand-designed levels introduces new complexities, from unstable foundations to mysterious voids and swirling blizzards. And soon you discover that a sinister force has been working to undermine you all along… the evil Dr. Gravity!

Features:

Physics-based Tower Building: Unleash your inner architect as you carefully position your blocks into a tower that defies gravity. Harness your spatial awareness and logical thinking to build the tallest tower possible, or complete the level by building the craziest tower you can think of.

40 Hand-Crafted Levels: Prepare to encounter a diverse range of mechanics that will keep you on your toes. From ice levels with reduced friction to mind-bending gravity-inverted stages, each level presents a unique challenge.

No Ads Or In-app Purchases: Just lots and lots of towers. The way games should be.

Infinite Content: A brand new puzzle every day and an infinite mode means that you'll always find something new and exciting to test your brain.

Compete With Friends: Compete on the leaderboards, show off your creations and see how your towers measure up to the brain-melting structures designed by the world’s best.

Great For Kids: steks is a problem-solving game that encourages creative play, just like playing with blocks, making it perfect for children. steks has no adverts and no in-app purchases - so you can leave your child playing with peace of mind.

Fully Offline: play steks anywhere.

Relaxing Gameplay: Unwind and enjoy steks at your own pace. There are no time constraints, making it the ideal game for those seeking a tranquil gaming experience.

Challenging Puzzles: steks may be relaxing, but it’s great for challenging your puzzle-solving skills. Each level has unique obstacles and complexities. Forty unique levels alongside an infinite mode and daily challenges means steks has hours of replay value.

Beautiful Visuals: Immerse yourself in steks’ lo-fi world completely uninterrupted by adverts, channelling vintage arcade games and the best cosy puzzle games.

A simple and fun game with good controls, but.. there's no audio? No sound effects or music at all?? No title screen? The music in the ad was part of why I purchased the game, so that is a bummer. I wont refund bc its a small price and I CAN play my own music in the bg. Two stars is fair for a game with zero audio, but it would be 5 stars with it. Won't be recommending this one to my friends. I do have a good phone btw. It is a pretty cool game, even with no sound or audio AT ALL.

Super fun puzzle game most of the time but the hail levels are so frustrating. The game doesn't communicate to you how your meant to adapt to the hail (if there even is a way) and I can't figure it out. The ice blocks are an escalation of the physics you've already been working with but the falling hail seems to just destroy what you've built with no way to build something sturdy enough to withstand it. It's a shame because otherwise it's a really really fun game.

This is exactly as good as it seems. A great little stacking game. Only thing that would bump my review to five stars is if there was an option to offset pieces so that they're above your finger and you can actually see them. And also if there was better checking for the high scores, most of them aren't proper towers. Would also like more colour schemes.
