Some days are stressful, frustrating, or depressing - be it terrible news, relationship woes, bad day at work or school, or just another bleak day.

You want to avoid talking to anybody about it. Instead of containing these negative emotions, freely vent to your companion - the Venting Diary app - either via text or audio. Say what you wish, scream as loud as you want, write anything ... just let it out!!

Once done, and if you prefer, the app saves it all for you, on your device, and completely off-limits to anyone but you. Your thoughts, emotions, mistakes, and accomplishments are all private and remain that way. You can access previous entries and audio recordings.

Venting Diary is also a diary, allowing you to catalog, journal, and record your days - good or bad. All with the added convenience and benefit of using your voice. Your saved diary entries will appear in the "AUDIO DIARY" and "TEXT DIARY" tabs from the newest to the oldest.

Eh. It's easy to navigate just a little too simple. It's like a notes app on your phone just with an addition of a daily mood tracker. Cons def are the fact that you can't go back an edit once done. you can only trash your text. Also I hate the fact that you're able to enable a password but can literally open the app up again, and everything is just there. no pass needed. you really have to fully close out of it, so it's not running in the background.

Super nice! Easy to navigate although it could be a little more aesthetically pleasing as it looks just like a 30 minute app project. I like how it also uses your biometrics as a pass code if you already have it set on your phone, without having to set it up on the app. I needed a place to put down my thoughts and I think the audio choice is a great option. No ads that I've experienced and that's a thing I hate so props to the app for that.

FINALLY! an app that is simple and private - in fact, the simplicity starts with the name (Venting Diary instead of -ly and i-) and offers simple interface (a few more iterations and it would be at the top). The app serves my basic need - vent off my feelings - when i want to do just that. I also like that it stores everything on my phone - privately.
