Ratings and reviews

While I have many criticisms with the game, especially regarding the gameplay and generosity of items, I genuinely had fun playing this game. It is a very good time killer and reminds me of dungeon crawlers I've played in the past, such as Nethack or Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup. If you're looking for a game with a bit of challenge to pass the time The Cursed Castle is something you should give a shot.

Cursed Castle is not great in gameplay but the atmosphere is amazing. The dark setting and music really pull you in and the story idea kept me curious. It is not perfect but it is still worth a try if you like spooky games.

Very fun and challenging game but I wish there was more and faster ways to earn exp. the amount of exp you get is too little.
