Experiments on lithium batteries have proven that shallow charging and discharging maximizes the cycle life of the battery, if the loss of charge from 0% to 100% is recorded as 1 cycle, then
* Charge to 90%, only 0.52 cycle
* Charge to 80%, only 0.27 cycle

Battery Guard can set high and low thresholds and then alerting the user when the power reaches the threshold, so that the battery maintains a shallow cycle working state.

Ratings and reviews

Works well for the most part. Would like it to have reminder alerts so that if you miss the one that occurs you will be reminded. Phone is not always within reach when charging or not charging and reminders would help a lot. Other than that it does the job quite well and is easy to configure.

The price seems a bit high. I suggest making this app donation-based. Users like me prefer investing in automation (eg. Automate ) apps rather than one designed for single-use.

Keeps getting cut by the system or restarting your phone . Making the app useless . I recommend making this App admin rights so it works properly
