Submitting invoices by mail? That's a thing of the past! With the Allianz Health App, our Allianz Private Health Insurance customers can conveniently submit their documents via photo, barcode, or document upload – quickly, securely, cost-effectively, and environmentally friendly! Our app offers you:

• Processing status: You can always track the current status of your submitted invoices and be notified immediately when processing is complete. You can also receive push notifications about the status of your invoices upon request.
• Plan display: You can see at a glance which benefits and deductibles are covered by your plan – and which are not.
• Medical support – anytime, anywhere: Expert support for medical questions. With "Doc on Call," you have the opportunity to confidentially ask independent medical experts your questions. No waiting time. No waiting room. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.* Our offer of medical video consultations* and specialist referral* round out our service.
• Foreign emergency number: The number you can dial with one click in the event of an emergency while traveling. The hotline is available 24/7 and offers comprehensive support: If there are language barriers, we will provide an interpreter. We also handle medication deliveries, organize blood transfusions, and, if necessary, return transport.
• Personal advice: In your profile, you can find your contact person for your contract or search for the right agency in your area.
• News center: News about the app and your health insurance with Allianz. Here, we provide information about new services, health tips, and completed service orders.

The security of your data is very important to us, and logging into the app is only possible with a device security feature (e.g., Touch/Face ID, device PIN). We also recommend that our users set up two-factor authentication so they can benefit from additional, comprehensive, and of course free features in the app, such as:

• Digital mailbox: See all correspondence from the past few years relating to your service orders at a glance – including environmentally friendly paper-free options if desired.

• View invoice and reimbursement amounts: We now display the invoice and reimbursement amounts in the submission overview.

Cannot see my inbox, it always says my session has expired after clicking on it. Only useful for submitting documents. Update: devs contacted me asking for some info (which I gave) but no improvement since then. 2nd Update to 1 Star cause now I can't even log in.

The scan function for documents is horrific. In this day and age it should be an easier process. I have to scan every document 5 times and try to adjust the edges until it finally accepts the image and doesn't simply throw me back to the scan process. Also, why cannot I name the different scans? When I upload different invoices how do I know which one you declined to reimburse when you name them wit a 20 digit number which I never get to see during the uploading process???

The app is unavailable way often, which is very annoying. I have never received an email that I have correspondence and was able to open the app and see my messages, because it always appeared unavailable. The submission of invoices is easy. When going through the list of past invoices, if you click on one and then go back it takes you straight to the top. It would be helpful to take you at the invoice you were, so that you can check one by one easily and not have to scroll down every time.
