About this app

Organize your knowledge through mind mapping and create your personal mind library.

Instead of carving knowledge into your brain’s neurons by repeating it over and over, why not persist it as a mind map in an information network? Only once and without the risk of losing it.

Starting from a central node, mindlib enables you to save, relate, and compare information. Knowledge is displayed in a mind map-like style, where everything is interconnectable—just like your mind.

Engage in dynamic conversations with your personal AI to explore, refine, and expand your knowledge. The AI-Chat in mindlib is uniquely tailored to your knowledge base, intelligently searching through your stored insights to provide context-aware answers that are grounded in your own curated information.

AI-generated insights can be automatically transformed into structured mind maps, eliminating the need for manual organization and research. Instead of arranging content yourself, simply engage in a natural conversation, and let mindlib handle the structuring. This allows you to effortlessly expand your knowledge while keeping it well-organized and interconnected.

To support knowledge organization, mindlib can be a share goal for your weblinks, uses Open Graph to pull information from URLs, and integrates the Google Knowledge Graph to discover relevant entities.

A search function, list view, and graphical mind map navigation enable you to quickly access your knowledge and explore new connections.

mindlib stores your mind maps locally and synchronizes with a server, ensuring your knowledge is always available—even when offline.

The app supports the OPML format for importing and exporting information, allowing easy exchange with other mind mapping applications and creating backups.

Use the web application version to access mindlib from your desktop at app.mindlib.de.

The free version allows up to 100 pieces of information. Upgrade to a monthly or yearly subscription for unlimited knowledge storage. Once your subscription ends, your existing data remains available and synchronized across all devices.

Seems all right but not the most intuitive. When you start adding a new entry it looks like it only let you search the internet for something. If it's a personal info, then it'll say 'no information found', and then you can keep going and you get to a field where you can enter heading, text etc. I just wanted to summarise what I had learned from a book in my own words, so for that it's being made a bit more complicated than necessary.

Many thanks for your feedback! It is possible to add your own information. Just click on the arrow icon surrounded by dots in the "New/Search/Websearch"-bar. You can also insert items like websites or images via share (mindlib can be targeted).

A great way keep the information arranged. I would like it more if new nodes can be entered and edited right in the graphical view rather than filling a form.
