Want something else not listed? Try the app. If it doesn't do exactly what you need. Drop me an email using the link in the app and I'll look into adding the missing feature(s).

Upcoming Changes:

The intention is to enhance the user interface progressively, and one of the users, David Klement, has kindly provided some suggestions for screen layouts going forward which I have started using from version 1.3.95 and will no doubt be taking more ideas from. The proposals are available in full:
https://api-8938561204297001672-604498.firebaseapp.com/design-proposals/index.html

Known limitations:

1. Comments are currently unsupported - you can neither see comments nor add them. If this missing feature is important to you - please talk to me.
2. The number of files that can be added to an upload job is limited to 5 in this free version (use the paid version to remove this limit)

More options than the official client, but you give up speed and liberty. This app is slower, you don't get as much zoom, it's loaded with ads unless you pay the outrageous $5 for the paid version, the EULA is very strict and gives no notice of change. Overall, the official client is a better option. It's free, ad-free, fast, and doesn't have a ridiculous EULA. RE: According to your EULA you can change it at any time and any "material" changes you'll give 0 days notice. Material being undefined.

Thanks for your review. Zoom can be unlimited, you do need to press and hold the image to get that option. I felt that 3x was adequate as a default. The load of images in the app is slower than it has been, true. I need to investigate. The eula can only change when a new version is downloaded, and you are asked to accept or reject it on app open.

I understand that a free app needs to show ads, but this app shows an literally after every single button press. Open a photo - ad, close the photo - ad, go folder up - ad, enter another folder - ad. That's not how ads are supposed to work. And no, I'm not going to buy the pro version of the app when I'm not even able to try it properly because it shows so many ads.

The interstitial adverts are supposed to show at a maximum rate that prevents what you describe. I've fixed this today, thanks for letting me know. I have to say I thought ads were supposed to support developers but the reality is Google gives such a low fee for each showing that the impact on users far outweighs the tiny £ benefit to development.

App is difficult to use. Non intuitive. Possibly as it's slow to respond. Can't get out of file upload screen. Only way I've found is to furtle to get os controls up & close app. Ads way too intrusive and close to action buttons so with big thumbs like me you're forever closing a browser. Sorry, just too hard to be useful. Yes it all takes time &effort but on the basis of this trial, not minded to buy. Remember piwigo is free & browser is OK on Android so what are app benefits over this?

Sorry you don't like the app. The upload screen can be closed by using the device back key.

What’s new

No longer retrieve images in the root of the gallery due to API limitations - sorry if this affects you
Fixed bug where album items are not always aligned to the top of the screen
