This app isn't worth the effort. I really like MCE and have been a long time deep green customer but I don't trust this app enough to allow it to control my car charging. Issues: - Multiple times in a one week it hasn't allowed my vehicle to charge. This has occurred at home and away. Both times are during off peak morning times. Solving this has required resyncing the vehicle with the app. - I have zero idea if the low carbon incentive registers. It's therefore not worth my effort.

Unable to fully register so far. It asks for my rate plan but no matter how I enter it, it doesn't recognize it. I have an EV2 rate plan from PG&E. However, I'm afraid it may not be flexible enough to actually save money because it charges based on the time I go to work, which will cause it to start earlier than the cheapest plan. I don't care whether it's completely charged. Everyday; I care more about the cheapest rates.

Getting some money back every month for "smart charging" is great, but unfortunately "smart charging" through this app frequently causes my Tesla Model 3 mobile charger to trip it's internal GFCI, making it unable to charge until I manually disconnect everything and reconnect. Once I disabled "smart charging" in the MCE App, the GFCI trips stopped. Again, I love getting money back with this, but it's not worth it if it is just going to constantly cause charging issues.
