About this app

Play your own music, directly from the cloud.

Astiga is a music streaming service for your own music. This app connects to Astiga, and easily plays back the music that is stored on your cloud service, directly in your browser or on your phone. Whether you are at work or on holiday, your own music collection always travels with you.

Please note:
- This is an app for Astiga, and does not work standalone.
- When you sign up for Astiga you get a 7 day free trial. After that, a subscription is required (see https://asti.ga#faqWhatCost for pricing).

Astiga supports a plethora of cloud storage services, including Google Drive, OneDrive (for Business), Dropbox, Amazon S3, Backblaze B2, FTP(S), WebDAV (like ownCloud, Yandex, Synology) and SFTP. If it exists, it is probably supported.

Astiga has full library support; generate your music library, allowing you to easily access your albums, artists and genres. Searching is supported as well.

You can mix playlists; no need to restrict yourself to one cloud provider; you can easily mix audio from multiple sources and save them to playlists.

24-bit FLAC? No problem; Astiga does not restrict quality or quantity.

Based on DSub for Subsonic.

I was losing GP Music but I can't stand YT Music. I'm happy w/Astiga. It's great that it has a browser version & it works well with cloud storage. It gives me almost everything I want: lockscreen play, background play, playlists, easy upload synchronization, and songs can be organized by artist or album. I just can't organize songs alphabetically or maybe I just haven't figured that part out yet. Otherwise, it's a great free alternative to GP Music.

This app is amazing and I would love to give it a five-star review, but it has a very glaring bug that makes playing a very frustrating experience. Whenever I pause the music, whether using Bluetooth or the app directly, the player in the notification bar just disappears and I have to go back into the app to continue my music. It makes playing very frustrating, and it happens on every single one of my devices where I have installed.

I give this app 5 stars as it's the best one for cloud services and I've tried them all. Looking forward for future development. Would be cool to have the option to show filenames instead of titles, or both, in Android Auto once the folder is selected. Or even artist. But for compilations, it's difficult to know which track you want with only title. Or, when playing, in Android Auto with a single click to return to the previous selection screen. Now it returns always to main screen..
